Writing Journal 7: Being on Time
9.25 AM.
Being on time is so important to me. I hate making people wait for me, but I hate waiting for them even more.
One of my friends doesn't even know the meaning of being on time, in time, or anything close to time... we went to Uni together because she could drive (I can't) and I cannot tell you how many times we were late of how many minutes of my life I lost waiting for her at her front door. I used to get super stressed about it, I hate being late and it was so annoying having to enter a class when it was already started... but after a few years I stopped caring, if we were late I would go to the library and study there, or go to a café and had a coffee.
Actually, what we are trying with her today, is saying we are meeting up at eight o'clock, for example, when the actual time we agreed upon is half past eight, that way we won't have to wait too long.
A few weeks ago I was running late because I had a zoom class and I told her I would need a few minutes (10 or so)... I still had to wait twenty minutes for her. Thank God I love her, because if I didn't I would have strangled her years ago.
