Writing Journal 16: The Right Age to Get Married

 9.14 AM.

I'm not sure if there's a right age to get married, and since I'm not very interested in getting married, I've never put much thought into it, but I'll try now.

Honestly, I don't think getting married is something to put your life towards to, so many relationship end just after getting married that it seems kind of stupid.  I might go from being a bachelorette to becoming a spinster in a few years hahahahaha.

I guess that if I had to choose an exact age, it would be around thirty years old. You're young enough but also old enough to have lived though different things and to have a stable job and some money.

While I think about this I'm realizing that I'm a bit burn out (I don't know if it is the right term) about the couples in my life, most are absolutely disgusting, the kind of people who can't do anything without their "other half"... as a feminist, it seems to me that my friends are basically becoming stupid when it comes to their partners, and I know that when you are in love things seem different, but some people forget that they're not actually joined at the hip.

Well, if I'm completely honest, the right age to get married, to me, is actually never. Even if you are in a relationship, getting married doesn't have to mean more commitment, you can be committed without a papear saying so.
